Teacher Requirements
- A Native-English speaker, preferably with a North American accent.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline.
- A current passport.
- A minimum one-year commitment.
- An outgoing, dynamic and creative personality.
- A love of children, and the ability to make them laugh.
- Ability to get along and work well with others.
- A willingness to become expert in Schoolhouse's curriculum, teaching methodologies and policies.
- A willingness to become an expert in English-language phonics and grammar. (Go to Teacher Proficiency Test to test your current level of expertise now.)
- A willingness to follow our dress code.
- No illicit drug or alcohol problem. (In Taiwan, those who possess illicit drugs may be imprisoned; those who distribute them may be executed.)
